I am a violin teacher with over twenty years’ experience.  Before teaching the violin, I studied at The Royal College of Music and The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.  I studied the violin with Dona Lee Croft and I studied the Alexander Technique with Tasha Miller. I have continued to study the Alexander Technique for many years.

Currently, I teach privately at three separate venues, as well as teaching some people in their own homes.  The venues are: a beautiful Queen Anne Grade II listed building in West Drayton; a Grade II listed Georgian house in Ickenham, and a church parlour, also in Ickenham.

As I play the piano as well, I do much of my own accompanying.

I teach mainly individual lessons, but I also run some group lessons for children at The Compass Theatre in Ickenham.

I have had a DBS check and I am a member of The Incorporated Society of Musicians.  I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music (Violin). I also do some performing myself.

I teach both children, and adults, and I teach from beginner to Grade 8.  I have many students who are studying for ABRSM and Trinity College London music exams.

I put on occasional pupil concerts and I also teach the violin, viola, and piano, in schools.

I am playing part of Kreisler's
Schön Rosmarin in one of the
beautiful rooms, The Drawing Room,
in Ickenham Hall, at The Compass
Theatre, in Ickenham (May 2023).
